Standard Operating Procedures

The Standard Operating Procedures document contains the procedures, policies, and rules used by the flight school for all of its operations.

Flight School Aviation Weather Minimums

All pilots operating our aircraft must be familiar with and must comply with the following weather minimums, which are listed in our Standard Operating Procedures (see above).
Wind limitations include gusts.

Contains information on using the FAA’s WINGS pilot proficiency program, which we use for all of our flight reviews.

Contains information for all pilots renting our aircraft, including Safety Procedures and Practices (which includes weather minimums for rental), current aircraft rental rates, and the Student-Renter Agreement. This folder also includes a document offering guidance on using the FAA WINGS program to satisfy the requirements of a Flight Review.

Contains information on our required Student Pilot materials and general course info. Also contains supplemental materials, including stage check overviews, stage check grade sheets, and endorsement labels.

Contains our 91.103 planning form, risk assessment form, navigation logs, quizzes, and useful diagrams and info sheets to supplement your training.

Contains the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) for the Private Pilot certificate, Instrument rating, and Commercial Pilot certificate practical tests. This is what you will be tested on during your checkride, so start studying now!

Contains Training Aids, Flight Lessons, Ground Syllabus, and other materials required for helicopter training.

Contains aircraft maneuver guides with procedures for Private and Commercial Pilot maneuvers.

Contains the take home Pre-Solo Written Exam required for solo students.

Contains information for each of the aircraft in our fleet, including checkout sheets, maneuver guides, and weight & balance information.

Contains all of the documents students will need to have in their checkride folder, such as the Aircraft Review sheet, Checkride Request form, and Checkride Checklist.

IACRA is an FAA web site that allows people to apply for new Airman Certificates, or to upgrade existing certificates. The entire application process takes place on the website, including electronic signing of applications, and at the end of the process all the necessary documents will be sent electronically to the Airman Registry.

The FAA MedXPress system allows anyone requesting an FAA Medical Clearance or Medical Certificate to electronically complete a medical certificate application. Information entered into MedXPress is available to your FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for review at the time of your medical examination.
